Ordered a box call from Rick White. Just got it yesterday, and been playing it on & off every time I walk by it. It is SWEET. This call is going in the vest this spring. Man, I'm gonna need a bigger vest.

This is what I refer to as a true custom call. You can't just go buy a call like this. Got nothing against production calls or other "custom" calls which IMO are really small production/operation calls. I own and use several of those types. But these true custom calls are always a little more special to me. You get to talk to the guy making the call, pick your wood and he may even ask you what sound you are looking for. Rick even made this call considering me being left-handed and how I operate a box. He was even willing to leave the checkering off the lid for me. And they are personalized. Plus you get that custom call maker, "if you don't like it we will work with it until you do" policy. Not to mention that you get to talk turkey with another turkey nut.

You'd have to shoot me and pry your call from my cold dead fingers to get it back. Thanks a bunch. She is a beauty in every respect for sure.

Hey Rick, Here's a pic of a bird I got in Wisc. with your call. It was a nice 3 year old bird, and it may be my best turk hunt I ever had. Got it on my 50th B-day and it was my 50th tom I've harvested. Worked the bird for over 2 hrs. Finished him with a mouth call.

Just wanted you to know how much I like the walnut glass call of yours. The 1st morning I used it we called in a double-bearded tom that I shot. Thanks again.

Rick, Well, I got my new box call in the mail and it looks and sounds BEEEEUTIFUL. My wife is about to run me off, I have been playing it so much. I can't help it, it sounds so good. I might leave something at home, but it won't be your box call.

Thanks again for a beautiful looking and sounding call.

Rick, Beautiful work with gorgeous wood, and an even better sound. Your handiwork will be a treasured keepsake for me and mine in the years to come. I'm counting on a gander of gobblers going down at its beckoning.

Many, many thanks Rick! Absolutely spectacular!!

Rick, Received the box call this evening and it is simply breathtaking. Sounds wonderful. Can't wait to take it out in a couple weeks and call up an ’ol gobbler.

Thanks again,

Rick, The box call came in yesterday. Sound wise? I'm gonna be completely honest with you here: that SOB will talk the talk. I couldn't have had you tune it any closer than you got it. I am very impressed with the sound. Now the looks? I'm a sucker for a pretty call and man do you make a PURDY one. I love the colors in the wood and the hand checks just set it off. I know for a fact it will out talk some of my high-end box calls.

(4-16) Hey Rick, the box call you built me had them going crazy here at work. Slid down to the tank this morning right after sun up and went to working them with the box. Worked 3 big long-beards within well under 25 yds., man that box will PURR with the best of them. It freakin' drove them nuts.

(4-17) post on TTP forum: Went out this morning with my F-I-L to try his luck on his first Spring gobbler. Put my new Rick White box call to the test. Called my 63 yr. old F-I-L in a big ol' jake with a 35 yd. shot. A personal "Thank you", it done the job WELL!! Very nice custom box calls and they won't cost you an arm and a leg and they speak Turkey to the "T".

Rick, your glass call had turkeys all over me opening morning. One tom was so close that it was actually bumping the blind. I could have poked it with an arrow. I shot two gobblers that morning with my bow using your glass over glass 3" call. I really like your calls, but they get the season over too fast for me. I now have five of your calls and they all sound great.

I never had anything but store bought calls until I got one of your box calls. Man, is it ever sweet. I'm probably not going to take the curly maple glass call out since it has special meaning and I'm afraid of losing it. Keep making those sweet sounding calls.

The morning of April 9th (2008) at 11:15 a.m. I shot a 30 lb. turkey. It had an 11 1/2" beard and a 1 1/4" spur; only one, the other was broken off. I was using the box call you made for me. A call of LOVE that "Old Tom" could not resist.

Thanks.
